Folios 189-190: Thomas Ladd Peake, London. Writes on behalf of a former Midshipman of his aboard the sloop Rosario, in 1813, Mr William Isaac. In August of that year Isaac went on leave and did not return, so was marked Run on the ship's books. However, in November, Peake received a letter saying Isaac was aboard the sloop Bacchus, and it transpired that due to private matters he had been delayed, but his letter to Peake requesting further leave had gone astray. Asks that the R be removed. Admiralty note on rear says they need more details of the reason for such a long absence.
Folio 191: enclosure with folios 189-190. Record office form, giving Captain Peake's name.
