Folios 222-223: William Beauchamp Proctor, Broom Place near [?]. Duplicate letter to folios 220-221, regarding the deserter, Thomas Leverett.
Folio 224: enclosure with folios 222-223. Deposition from William Beauchamp Proctor, dated 11 October 1819, to say that Leverett served aboard HMS Dedaigneuse under his command from about August 1813 until Proctor left her in January 1815 [actually written 1805 but must be a slip]. That he did his duty in the afterguard and was always a very sober, well behaved and quiet man.
