Folios 240-241: John Temple, HMS Saint Albans, Horsley Bay. Reply to letter dated 21 March 1804 in the case of Patrick Carrol. He was impressed on the 7 November 1803 from a Ballast Lighter in the River and was onboard HMS Avenger when she was lost in the River Elb in December 1803. He was then impressed into HMS Saint Albans out of a foreign vessel in the Bay on the 3 February 1804.
Folios 242-243: enclosure with folios 240-241. Letter dated 15 March 1804 by John Haynes, 147 Fenchurch Street. In the matter of Richard Derrant, Patrick Carrol and Jeremiah Sullivan. Enclose copies of Affidavits and Habeas's that have been issued and request their discharge.
Folios 244-245: enclosure with folios 240-241. Letter dated 19 March 1804 by Thomas Richbell, General Rendezvous, Tower Hill. Reply to letter dated 17 March 1804. Reports that does not appear that Patrick Carrol has been brought to him in that name.
