Folios 176-177: Francis Temple, HMS Tartarus, Harwich. Covering letter for one from Mr Henry Phillips, Purser on HMS Tartarus about the insufficiency of the necessary money for the supply of the various articles in his department. Which Francis Temple supports.
Folios 178-179: enclosure with folios 176-177. Letter dated 24 December 1803 by Henry Phillips, Purser, HMS Tartarus, Harwich. Reporting that the establishment allowance of necessary money, for HMS Tartarus (Bomb Vessel) is very insufficient to furnish the Articles usually supplied by the Purser.
