Folios 526-527: John Tower, HMS Lark, Halfway Reach. Explains that he thinks William Assery is too old to be an apprentice and comments that Masters of Merchantmen are in the habit of describing grown men as apptrentices. He has discharge Christian Jansen and Christian Christansen who are not settled in England and have not received the Kings Bounty.
Folios 528-529: enclosure with folios 526-527. Statement dated 21 March 1803 by John Brankston, Justice of the Peace, Shadwell. States that William Assery was impressed on board the Triton employed in the Coal and Coasting Trade. He is apprenticed to Richard Denton of Lamton Buildings, County Durham owner of the Triton and was never at sea before his indenture.
Folios 530-531: enclosure with folios 526-527. Affidavit dated 23 March 1803 of Richard Denton, Lambton Buildings, Sunderland. Requests the discharge of William Assey his apprentice who was impressed by the officer of HMS Lark.
