Folios 252-253: Francis Temple, HMS Tartarus, Woolwich. Returns an enclosed affidavit but wishes to point out that the officer who impressed William Thomas had reason to believe that he was not the carpenter of the said ship.
Folios 254-255: enclosure with folios 252-253. Letter dated 30 July 1803 by J. Norman, London. Attaches the affidavit of Joseph Walton of Sunderland, County Durham regarding William Thomas, carpenter of the Hope of Sunderland who was impressed by an officer of the Tartarus. Signed 27 July 1803.
