Folios 239-240: Sandford Tatham, Greenock. Informs the Admiralty that he has had to discharge Lieutenant Peter Smith for medical reasons and expresses his concern that Smith is ill provided for. He has also disbanded the rendezvous.
Folios 241-242: enclosure with folios 239-240. Letter dated 10 December 1803 by James Manteath, Glasgow. Informs Tatham of Smith's condition and recommends he be able to be taken care of by his sister.
