Folios 233-234: William Popham, HMS Tyrian, Jamaica. Encloses a copy of the warrant appointing James Baker as Acting Boatswain of HMS Tyrian, stronly recommending him to their Lordships.
Folios 235-236: enclosure with folios 233-234. Letter dated 1 April 1818 by Sir Home Riggs Popham, Rear Admiral of the White, Commander in Chief Bahama and Jamaica. Appointment of James Baker to act as Boatswain of HMS Tyrian to replace the former boatswain who has been invalided.
