Folios 451-452: William James Turquand, HMS Railleur, Falmouth. Reporting his arrival with a convoy of Victuallers consisting of 15 sails and accompanied by HMS Serpent. Explains that as a result of receiving orders from James Newman, Captain, to proceed to Plymouth to repair damage sustained in action with the Pallas French National frigate, Admiral Robert Brice Kingsmill directed him on 14 February to take charge of a convoy to the Downs. However easterly winds have prevented his arrival sooner and requests orders to now proceed to Plymouth to get refitted which will take 4 days.
