Description

Folios 541-542: George Tripp, HMS Nassau, Downes. Reply to letter, and orders, dated 21 November 1799. He made every enquiry respecting the shot that was thrown at Mr Andrew Moore, Boatswain in the Middle Watch of the 12 August 1799, but owing to the hurt Mr Moore received he has not been able to obtain any information from him. He has now obtained the information and discovered the offender and an accomplice. He has therefore requested a Court Martial for James Dorman and William Beaty.
