Description

Folios 531-532: George Tripp, HMS Nassau, Torbay. Reply to letter dated 14 August 1799 regarding 1st Lieutenant John Williams. He was surveyed by order of Vice Admiral Andrew Mitchell and sent to sick quarters at Chatham on the 25 June 1799 and he wrote on the 2 July respecting this, but is case they did not receive it a copy is enclosed [Inc.].

Folios 533-534: folio numbers not used.

Folios 535-536: enclosure with folios 531-532. George Tripp, HMS Nassau, Chatham. Copy of letter dated 2 July 1799 stating that Lieutenant John Williams has been sent to sick quarters and requesting a replacement.
