Folios 511-512: George Tripp, HMS Nassau, Nore. Reply to letter dated 18 March 1799, requesting a copy of the Order.
Folios 513-514: enclosure with folios 511-512. Letter dated 24 June 1795 by W Parker, HMS Medusa, Port Royal. Extract of a General Memorandum in force- to Captains and Commanders of HM Ships and Vessels employed at Jamaica. Directing that a guard is rowed daily by HM Ships laying at anchor and that all Vessels be thoroughly examined before they quit the port, particularly Americans for the purpose of detecting English Seaman that may be concealed on board. Also mentions American ships arriving with English Seaman on board who emigrated since the Peace concluded in 1783.
