Folios 473-474: George Henry Towry, HMS Uranie, Plymouth. Reports that HMS Uranie carries 28 eighteen pounders on the Main Deck, Long Nines and 32 pounder Carronades on the Quarter Deck and Forecastle, has the same Masts and yards as other eight and thirty gun frigates and is eleven hundred tons burthen. He requests the consideration of whether she should not be allowed the same complement as other frigates of 38 guns. He has been ordered to victual the ship for a complement of only 274 men and has not received a scheme for that complement.
