Folios 323-324: Edward William Campbell Rich Owen, HMS Prince Regent, Kingston. Reports dry rot in the New Ship number 1. He ordered the Assistant Builder, Foreman and Principal Quarter Man of Shipwrights to inspect the ship and make recommendations to prevent it spreading and protect the other ship. Encloses the queries and answers of the Officers. He has given directions, as enclosed.

Folios 327-328: enclosure with folios 323-324. Letter dated 23 October 1815 from Edward Owen, HMS Prince Regent, Kingston, to Edward Laws, Naval Storekeeper. Gives instructions for both ships as recommended in the report from the Master Builder, Foreman and Quarter Man of Shipwrights.
