Description

Folios 155-156: Sandford Tatham, North Shields. Encloses a petition from the crews of the Mary and the Eleanor, hired tenders.

Folios 157-158: enclosed with folios 155-156. Signed on behalf of the Mary by Midshipmen Robert Ainsley and James Wilson together with John Dalton and Robert Dawson and behalf of the Eleanor by Midshipmen John Turner and [?] Simpson together with Robert Moore and George Place, asking for ask to be paid at the same rate as seamen on board Royal Navy vessels.
