Folios 542-545: George Tripp, 14 George Street, Plymouth. Disputing the representation of Vice Admiral Sir Hyde Parker and backing up his actions with copies of his orders. He is accused of non-compliance with Commodore Sir John Thomas Duckworth's orders. On arrival at Jamaica, Captain Hugh Pigot HMS Success remonstrated at taking on board all the ships company. Captain Thomas Drury HMS Alfred ordered the master of HMS Sampson to be discharged into HMS Alfred. Also detailed is the convoy of Transport and trade back to England with HMS Jamaica and HMS Albacore. He accepts the judgement of the Admiralty of his actions.
