Folios 273-274: George Tripp, HMS Severn, Gibraltar Bay. Reporting his arrival in Gibraltar with all the Transports having the troops of the:- 69 Regiment 2nd Battalion, 82nd Regiment 2nd Battalion, 108th Regiment, 128th Regiment, 131 Regiment and the 200 66th Regiment Recruits. He has now embarked 1st Battalion of the 82nd Regiment onboard the Transports. He has also taken ten Six Pounder Field Pieces ordered for St, Domingo, two on HMS Severn and rest divided amongst the Transports along with all the ammunition belonging to them. He presumes that Rear Admiral Mann has reported that HMS Zealous, having lost her Main and Mizen Masts and sprung her Fore Mast on the passage out. He reports that HMS Zealous now has new Main and Mizen Masts and that her Fore Mast is finished and that she will be ready soon to join Admiral Hotham.
