Folios 271-272: George Tripp, HMS Severn, Spithead. Reporting that Lieutenant John Butt, 2nd Lieutenant on HMS Severn and Officer of the Watch when HMS Severn was attacked by a Whirlwind on the 13 February 1795, at which time he received injuries that render him incapable of any service and that he is so debilitated that he needs constant care for which the Half Pay of a Lieutenant is inadequate. He hopes that when Lieutenant John Butt presents a memorial the Admiralty will look favourably on his request.
