Folios 259-260: George Tripp, HMS Severn, Spithead. Reporting that he has received orders to complete the stores of HMS Severn for Foreign Service, for six months os all species except Beer, of which she is to have as much as she can stow, with Vine or Spirits in lieu of the remainder. He has also received the letter of the 18 April 1795 giving direction to Admiral Lord Alexander Arthur Hood to take all transports now at Spithead and that he is to remain at Spithead to escort any remainder of them along with the next Mediterranean Convoy.
