Description

Folios 255-256: George Tripp, HMS Severn, Spithead. Acknowledging his orders dated 11 April 1795 to see what Transports are available to take the:- 69th Regiment 2nd Battalion, 82nd Regiment 2nd Battalion, 127th Regiment, m128th Regiment and the 131st Regiment, to Gibraltar and then take the troops of the 1st Battalion of the 82nd Regiment, now in Gibraltar, to Cape Nichola Mole in St. Domingo. Then placing himself under the command of Rear Admiral John Ford or the Commanding Officer there.
