Captured ship: St Anthony of Padua of Ostend (master Cornelis Bodart of Ostend, otherwise Cornelijs Boddaert)
Capture history: a Flemish (Spanish Netherlands) merchant ship (200 tons, 11 men; built at Rotterdam and bought there in June 1672 by Boddaert for himself and his co-owners - Anthonio Domicent, William de Vis, Jacobus de Bee and John Corinson, all of Ostend, and Peter Moroe of Brussels - from the previous master, John Harminson Dissell), bound from Ostend to La Rochelle, in ballast and with provisions, to take on salt, wine and brandy for Leith, Scotland; taken on 13/23 August 1673 about 8 leagues off Scilly by HMS Hunter (George Colt commanding) and brought into Falmouth.
