Folios 413-414: Thomas Twysden, HMS P:ylades, Leith Roads. Advises that he has only this day received their letter directing him to cruise off Bergen, though it was dated 31st October. He will make every effort to ready the ship and leave as soon as possible. Also has received the letter informing him that his first lieutenant, John Walker, has beeen superseded, and that the second lieutenant Mr Goddard is to be first, and Lord Robert Mark Kerr is to be appointed second.
