Folios 407-408: Thomas Twysden, HMS Pylades, Leith Roads.
Advising of his arrival at this anchorage and that on 8 October he had received orders from Captain Douglas, of HMS Jason, to put himself under Douglas's command. He remained with Douglas until the 23rd of this month. He has given directions to Lieutenant Mallon, of the cutter Tryal, to cruise on their allotted station. Encloses state and condition, and a journal of proceedings up to 20 September [neither now present].
