Folios 267-268: William Taylor, HMS La Prompte, at the Nore.
Advising that the defects of the ship have been made good, and that with sufficient supplies of food for three months, the most she can carry, Captain Taylor has proceeded to the Nore, according to orders. He understands that in the course of 2 or 3 days Admiral Dalrymple will dispatch them to the Downs.
