Folios 242-243: William Taylor, HMS La Prompte, off Fort George, Moray Firth.
Advising of his arrival, together with the sloop Cormorant, and 19 sail of transports, at the fort. They will be able to leave as soon as the troops can be embarked - which he is advised will take 4 to 5 days. In case the wind is contrary and takes them through Yarmouth Roads, he would appreciate their Lordships' further orders.
