Folios 240-241: William Taylor, La Prompte, in Leith Roads.
Acknowledging receipt that morning of Admiralty instructions to proceed to Fort George, and then to the Scheldt with the troops. There he is to follow instructions from HRH Duke of York or the CO of the troops at Antwerp. Advises that the wind being fair he will proceed that afternoon, with HM sloop Cormorant, and the Ceres and Diamond armed vessels, together with 19 sail of transport, to Fort George and then the Scheldt.
