Folios 291-292: William Simpson, HMS Princess, Liverpool. Reporting that Mr Charles Gibbs, Gunner late of HMS Penguin, and nine seaman and Marines arrived here from St. Salvador, in a Merchant Ship where they were landed by the American Schooner Tom Bowling, after having been Captured by the Hornet on 23 March 1815.
