Folios 268-269: William Simpson, HMS Princess, Liverpool. Reply to letter dated 10 July 1815 in the case of William Kemp said to be an apprentice. He volunteered with Lieutenant Lyons on the 28 June 1815 as a Boy aged 17 and denied being an apprentice.
Folio 270: enclosure with folios 268-269. Letter 7 July 1815 from Samuel Kemp, Father of William Kemp and stating that William Kemp is an apprentice to William Rigby a Butcher in Liverpool and request his discharge.
