Folios 266-267: Francis Stanfell, HMS Bacchante, Spithead. Following a request from Captain Arthur Philip Hamilton of HMS Ceylon for a Lieutenant to replace Lieutenant Smith who died on this voyage. He has given orders for Mr Thomas Seymour, Master's Mate on HMS Bacchante to act until further orders.
