Folios 236-237: William Simpson, HMS Princess, Liverpool. Reply to letter dated 3 June 1815 in the case of William Evans. He was received from a Lieutenant Beckett at Manchester on 24 May 1815 as a Boy aged 17.
Folios 238-239: enclosure with folios 236-237. Letter date 30 June 1815 from Joseph Barton No 24 Hanging Ditch, Manchester stating that William Evans is an indentured apprentice to him, who presented himself to Lieutenant Flowin Beckett at the Manchester Rendezvous on the 24 June 1815, requesting his discharge.
