Description

Folios 196-197: John and Thomas Maude, Westminster. There being an objective of receiving the arrears of pay and compensation due to Captain Henry Shiffner, between 28 March 1809 and 31 March 1811 when he serving as Lieutenant on HMS Owen Glendower as no certificate from Captain William Selby the Commander. As William Selby having died they request the Admiralty order the certificate to be dispensed with.
