The Atmospheric Dispersion Modelling Liaison Committee (ADMLC) was established in 1995. The committee investigates and researches atmospheric dispersion modelling and related phenomena and produces reports on their findings, with the primary goal of informing authorisation or licensing of discharges to the atmosphere originating from industrial, commercial or institutional sites. On the committee are representatives from UK government organisations, private industries and consultancies:
