Folios 257-258: William Simpson, HMS Princess, Liverpool. States the case of William Blyth who was impressed by Lieutenant Salmon.
Folios 259-260: enclosure with folios 257-258. Letter dated 18 June 1814 by Thomas Leisk, Master of the brig Lion of Aberdeen writes that William Blyth is Mate of the vessel and stepped on shore to examine the moorings when he was detained. They had believed that the impression of seamen had ceased and ask for his release.
