Folios 202-203: Edward Saurin, HMS Hope, Portsmouth. Reply to letter with an enclosed letter from Lieutenant Davenport Sevley's Father. The request he received from the Lieutenant just said he needed to arrange some family affairs.
Folios 204-205: enclosure with folios 202-203. Letter dated 31 January 1814 by Davonport Sevley, Elliott House, West Square. Requests his son Lieutenant Davenport on HMS Hope lying at Portsmouth be superceded as he has come into a considerable sum of money from his Grandmother's will and need to arrange his affairs.
