Folios 373-374: John Simpson, HMS Coquette, Cumray's Entrance of the Clyde. Updating on the ship's progress including their departure from HMS Cressy and the merchant vessels they were accompanying. Near Waterford lighthouse, approximately 50 of the convoy were counted, when he allowed the Liverpool ships to part. The Bristol ships had previously gone. Greenock was also mentioned.
Folio 375: enclosure with folios 373-374. Alexander Johnstone, Carpenter, HMS Coquette, 13 Aug 1813, to John Simpson. Defects report.
Folio 376: enclosure with folios 373-374. Letter dated 6 August 1813 by Charles Dashwood, HMS Cressy, to John Simpson, HMS Coquette. An order for HMS Coquette to protect the part of the convoy bound for St George's Channel[l?] and the Western Ports of Scotland. Then to proceed to Spithead, discharge invalided Seamen and Marines to the Naval Hospital and report to the Admiralty, as well as deliver lists to Portsmouth Dockyard.
