Description

Folios 304-305: Edward Scobell, HMS Thais, Sierra Leone. Regarding their arrival for information, provisions and the checking of 2 or 3 Spanish vessels said to be carrying slaves southerly, in Rio Pongas and Rio Nunez. Also information regarding John Smith from North Shields and William Willson of Whitby, Yorkshire who were on board the American Privateer Rambler.

Folio 306: enclosure with folios 304-305. Edward Scobell, 13 June 1813, to the Admiralty. Admiralty record office document request slip taken out 24 Nov 1813 and 26 May 1814.
