Folios 273-274: James Keith Shepard, Gravesend. Regarding John Martins and Henry Harris. John Martins not recorded on the books at this rendezvous but gives a description of Henry Harris who was impressed by Lieutenant Jordan from the True Briton from Halifax. Mention of Henry Harris in a report from the Nore.
Folios 275-276: enclosure with folios 273-274. Letter dated 27 July 1813 by [J?] Andrade, Consul General of the Portuguese Consulate, 33 Abchurch Lane, to the Admiralty. Requesting the release of John Martins, a Portuguese seaman, from HM Service following his impressment at Gravesend and currently on board the El Corso.
Folios 277-278: enclosure with folios 273-274. Letter dated 25 July 1813 by Henry Harris, HMS Namur at the Great Nore, to the Admiralty. Petition for his release from service following his impressment at Gravesend, while a passenger, on board the merchantman True Briton from Halifax. James Kirby, Captain of the True Briton also mentioned.
