Description

Folios 258-259: Andrew Smith, Greenock Rendezvous. Description and regarding Archibald McMillan sent to Plymouth on the Elizabeth tender who was impressed from the Margaret [Bogle?].

Folios 260-261: enclosure with folios 258-259:. Letter dated 9 July 1813 by Mary McMillan, M Kellars Land, Cathcart Street, Greenock, to the Admiralty. Requesting that her son, Archibald McMillan who belonged to the ship Monarch, be released for the payment of a fee. Other sons are mentioned on board a Frigate in the East Indies and the Hazard Sloop of War.
