Folios 254-255: James Keith Shepard, Gravesend. Description and regarding Alexander Johnstone, on board HMS El Corso and impressed by Lieutenant Petley from the ship [Medway?] after being given up by the Master [M?] James Patterson when found plundering the cargo.
Folios 256-257: enclosure with folios 254-255. Letter dated 23 July 1813 by Alexander Johnston, HM Sloop El Corso Gravesend, to the Admiralty. Regarding purchase of his release. Mention of his father killed on HMS Venerable in action with the Dutch fleeet.
