Description

Folios 237-238: Peter Spicer, Swansea. Description and regarding Richard Mitchel, impressed by Lieutenant Notter from the George and Ann Brig.

Folios 239-240: enclosure with folios 237-238. Protection Order for Richard Mitchell, sworn at Redruth Parsonage, and document, signed in Portreath near Redruth by J Williams and Henry Bath, 7 July 1813 to the Admiralty. Requesting Richard Mitchell's release. Morgan Carkeek, master of the George and Ann Brig, and Hugh Rogers, JP of the County of Cornwall, also mentioned. The vessel was travelling from Portreath, within the port of St Ives for Swansea
