Folios 77-78: James Slade, HMS Experiment, Falmouth. Regarding the arrival of HM late Packet Lapwing as a Cartel, after capture by the American Privateer Brig Rattlesnake while travelling home from [Corunna/Carunna?]. Seeking advise about how to deal with the American Prize Master in charge of the HM Packet Lapwing. The following agree not to act against the United States during the present war allowing the Packet Lapwing to sail home under a flag of truce whilst under the control of Officer Captain Moffat. Also, on arrival, the Packet Lapwing, Captain Edward Ellworthy, his officers and crew plus [Binito Lintor?] American Council at [Caruna?], Spain be delivered to the American agent for prisoners so prisoners can be returned to the United States.
