Folios 1-2: James Slade, HMS Experiment, Falmouth. Regarding the men Thomas Townsand, John Felt, Thomas Shearwood and James Ross who were impressed by Lieutenant Knight from the Ranger and arguing against the master Mr Winser's letter complaining that the Ranger was rendered unable to proceed under convoy of HMS Tartarus, following the impressment of these men. Captain Pascoe and Spithead were also mentioned.
