Folios 130-131. Letter from the Lord Viscount Weymouth to 1st Earl Harcourt referring to the latter's letter of 17 May 1776 with several papers annexed which have now been taken into consideration. The King approves of the steps taken relative to Charles Forrest (Master of the Handcock and Adams) and the other persons concerned with him, and does not doubt that with the further assistance of the Crown lawyers, who alone are competent to judge of the proper steps to be taken, these enemies to their country will meet with their deserved punishment. Dated at St James's.
