Letter from the Lord Viscount Weymouth to 1st Earl Harcourt referring to the latter's letter of 11 May 1776 and conveying the King's consent to the disposal by Major Benjamin Edwardes of the 11th Regiment of Foot of his commission, with Captain Charles Gordon of that regiment to succeed him, Lieutenant Patrick Hely of the 11th Regiment to succeed Gordon. Dated at St James's.
