Letter from 1st Earl Harcourt to Lord Viscount Weymouth regarding the request of Major Benjamin Edwardes of the 11th Regiment of Foot for leave to dispose of his commission on account of his private affairs and ill state of health. Harcourt recommends Captain Archibald Erskine of the 30th Regiment of Foot to succeed Edwardes, Lieutenant Thomas Campbell of the 30th Regiment of Foot to succeed Erskine, Ensign Robert Harvey Malory to be lieutenant, Mr Arbuthnott to be ensign and Lieutenant James Gould to succeed Campbell. Dated at Dublin Castle.
