Description

Short Title: Smithe v Frenche.

Plaintiffs: William Smithe of Woodbridge and William Piteman, John Curtys, Thomas Crapnell, Geoffrey Wenter and George Goodinge of Woodbridge, in the name of the inhabitants of Woodbridge [UBP].

Defendants: William Frenche, executor of the will of Thomas Annott of Lowestoft, Stephen Burrell and Elizabeth Burrell his wife.

Subject: title to a tenement called Gages in Gisleham (held of the manor of Mutford) devised by the will of the said Annot to the plaintiffs, for the maintenance of a grammar school in Woodbridge.
