Folios 40-41: D L Sinclair, HMS Sheldrake, Wingo Sound. Covering letter for orders from Vice Admiral Robert Murray directing him to take Baron Burchel for a passage to Russia. Requests the customary remuneration to be granted hor him being on board for 12 days.
Folio 42: enclosure with folios 40-41. Order from Vice Admiral Robert Murray to take on board Baron Burchel, charged with dispatches from His Royal Highness the Prince Regent to the Emperor of Russia also a quantity of [Backs?][equipment?] for use of the Russian Army and proceed to Wingo Sound or wherever Vice Admiral Sir James Saumarez may be. Given on board HMS Solebay [Iris] in Yarmouth Roads, 4 September 1812.
