Folios 32-33: Wilson Rathborne, [Regulating Officer], North Shields. Reply to letter dated 1 January 1812 in the case of Anthony Oldman on board HMS Transit. He was impressed on shore by Lieutenant Siddle? at Sunderland on the 21 December 1812 and detained for the service as he had no exemption from impress.
Folios 34-35: enclosure with folios 32-33. Petition dated 29 December 1812 of Grace Oldman of Sunderland, in the County of Durham. For her brother, Anthony Oldman a mariner who has lately been employed in His Majesty's Transport Service and belonged to a vessel which is now laid up for two months. Request the discharge of Anthony Oldman by the payment of a sum of money as your Lordships may be pleased to direct.
