Captured ship: Success of Cork (master John White).
History: an Irish merchant ship (60 tons) bound from Ostend to Cork, laden with salt; taken on 11/21 April between Dover and Calais by HMS James Galley(John Vickers commanding), and brought into the Downs.

Court Papers numbered CP 1-CP 6:
- [CP 1]: two examinations;
- [CP 2]: claim to the ship and cargo on behalf of merchants in Cork;
- [CP 3-CP 4]: allegation, interrogatories;
- [CP 5-CP 6]: abstracts and translations of the ship's papers [all returned], with a copy.
[Decision: ship and cargo restored, 5 May 1691].
