Description

Captured ship: Success of London (master Anthony Thorne now John Ball). [second capture]

History: an English merchant ship (ketch, 30 tons), in ballast; taken or retaken in 1693 by HMS Dover (Edward Whitaker commanding), and brought into Plymouth.
